Australia’s coronavirus curve has shown early signs of beginning to flatten. The daily rate of new cases of the virus, compared to a week ago, has dramatically fallen, Health Minister Greg Hunt said. He said the daily rate of increase in cases this time last Sunday was about 25 to 30 per cent. Now, he says, it is closer to being in the low teens.
