Restaurants and cafes could turn outdoor seating areas into stalls to serve customers food and drinks within weeks, under government plans reported in the Sunday Telegraph.
It comes after Boris Johnson reportedly told Tory MPs he hopes the UK can return to “near-normality” in July.
Michael Gove also insisted England’s schools are safe to reopen in June but added “you can never eliminate risk”. He told the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show: “There is always, always, always, in any loosening of these restrictions, a risk of people catching the coronavirus.”
