No new infection was detected in Iceland yesterday, neither at the Department of Bacteria and Virology, nor at the Icelandic Genetic Analysis
The number of active infections continues to decline and now there are 237. A total of 1,542 individuals have recovered.
Karl G. Kristinsson, head of the department, said in a conversation with mbl.is just after noon that this is not surprising, but that it is unlikely that more infections will occur.
