Michigan reports no new virus-related deaths for first time since March


Michigan reported 343 cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths on Sunday. In total, the state has 65,876 confirmed cases and 5,972 deaths.

On Friday, Michigan reported 460 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and three deaths. There were 65,135 confirmed cases and 5,969 deaths. On Thursday, the state reported a spike of 543 cases, the highest daily spike since May.

Cases continue to be higher than they were through the early and mid-parts of June as more businesses have opened up.
