New York has lowest COVID-19 infection rate since pandemic’s start


New York had its lowest percent positive COVID-19 rate Saturday since testing began in March.

The number of people testing positive for coronavirus was .78 percent Saturday of 65,812 people getting tested. Typically the number has remained at 1 percent of people testing positive for the last several weeks.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the number on a conference call with reporters Sunday. The number of people in hospital ICUs was also the lowest since the virus started being tracked, at 131 people statewide. Seven people died overnight. US SPREAD GOOD NEWS!
