Only eight active cases of the coronavirus remain in New Zealand, while the death toll has risen to 22, the Ministry of Health has confirmed.
Director-general of health Dr Ashley Bloomfield on Thursday announced no new Covid-19 cases for the sixth straight day, with the number of confirmed and probable cases remaining at 1504.
