Peopling recovered from the Coronavirus more than doubled from two weeks ago

More than 500,000 people worldwide have recovered from COVID-19 as of Wednesday morning, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. 

The university reports that out of over 2 million cases across the world, 501,758 have recovered. That’s more than double the number reported less than two weeks ago.

The majority of those who have recovered live in China, Spain and Germany, each reporting more than 70,000 who have recovered. The United States went from about 9,200 recoveries on April 3 to more than 50,000.
