UK death toll rises by just 3 in lowest Monday since lockdown

The UK reported 3 deaths from it’s high of 1166 on April 21st, which equals a 99.7% drop in the number of deaths from the UK’s peak.

This is the lowest death toll on a Monday since since lockdown began in March.

A total of 41,369 people have now died of the disease in all settings, including hospitals, care homes and the community.

There have been a further 713 positive cases confirmed by a test in the past 24 hours – ending a run of six days straight where new cases have been above 1,000.

There has been a total of 319,197 cases of coronavirus in the UK as of today.
