The rise in UK coronavirus-related deaths from 422 to 465 in the past 24 hours is a jump of 43. This is the smallest day-on-day increase in the number of deaths since March 20, when there was a rise of 40.
Today’s total is 10% up on the equivalent figure yesterday.
This is the smallest percentage rise for nearly two weeks – March 13 – when there was also a 10% day-on-day jump.
