Victoria records no new coronavirus cases, as another COVID-19 infection recovers

Victoria has recorded no new coronavirus cases or deaths for the 22nd day in a row, as authorities urge people in Melbourne’s south-west with the mildest of symptoms to get tested.

There is now just one active infection left in the state, down from two yesterday.

A potential case that was under review yesterday, an elderly woman who returned a weak positive result, has been ruled to be negative, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) said.

Health authorities have received 11,333 test results since yesterday’s update.

Health Minister Martin Foley said the remaining active case was in hospital, but not in intensive care. US SPREAD GOOD NEWS!
